I'm a self taught artisan. My love for beads came about after being in a very dark place after experiencing a tragic loss. I purchased a beginners beading kit, trying to remedy depression and anxiety. While engaging in prayer, meditation and therapy, I researched gemstones and fell in love with the beautiful variations and began to experience their properties. I started creating pieces for myself. I wanted others to experience this new found freedom that I was experiencing hence, Life's a Bead was born.
